Gazans are expressing their anger at Hamas for their role in the conflict that has led to thousands being killed by Israeli airstrikes, according to reports.

Israel's Channel 12 news has reported that there have been clashes between Hamas militants and civilians in Gaza over supplies.

Civilians have reportedly been seen shouting at the gunmen as they try and take some of the aid being dropped into the enclave.

The channel's Arab affairs reporter, Ehud Yaari, reported on Wednesday that Gazans “are praying that Israel will destroy Hamas and are saying it out loud”.

Another reporter, Ohad Hemo, added that the greeting “May God take revenge upon Hamas” has become common among those in the south of Gaza.

However, the network reiterated that this anger among Gazans has not turned into resistance against Hamas yet.

Mr Hemo added that the atmosphere on the ground in Gaza is "in a word, anarchy."

It comes amid reports that Hamas is stealing from humanitarian trucks in the Gaza Strip.

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza has reported over 16,000 deaths as a result of Israeli bombardment, most of whom were women and children.

Israeli estimates say that 5,000 Hamas members have been killed in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas sparked the latest round of hostilities with its terror attack in Israel on October 7, killing over 1,200 Israeli civilians.

Evidence of rape and sexual violence has emerged since the attack.

Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, accused the world of turning a blind eye to sexual violence against women carried out by Hamas.

Speaking on Tuesday, he expects "all civilized leaders, governments, nations to speak up against this atrocity".

Netanyahu added: "I say to the women's rights organizations, to the human rights organizations, you've heard of the rape of Israeli women, horrible atrocities, sexual mutilation - where the hell are you?"

A group named Physicians for Human Rights in Israel has also outlined multiple cases of sexual violence.

They said: "What we know for sure is that it was more than just one case and it was widespread, in that this happened in more than one location and more than a handful of times.

"It is becoming more apparent that the violence perpetrated against women, men and children also included widespread sexual and gender-based crimes.

"What we don't know and what the police are investigating is whether it was ordered to be done and whether it was systematic."
