Floyd Mayweather proved age is no issue with mind-blowing training video before fight run

In a video posted to social media last year, Floyd Mayweather showed he still had something left in the tank by showing fans an impressive feat.

Floyd Mayweather is still proving he has something in the tank. In a video that was reposted to X Monday, Mayweather was seen going through the motions with his trainer, that is until he decided to break out something new.

As he continued to hit the pads, Mayweather began looking at the camera, all while effortlessly hitting what he needed to. At numerous points in the video, Mayweather shot glances at the camera person while also dodging his trainer and increasing how quickly he's hitting the pads.

The 45-second long video posted to X was originally uploaded to social media in 2022 and originally garnered over 32,000 likes. The video was posted before Mayweather took on Don Moore in Abu Dhabi, which was closer than expected

Moore, Mayweather's former sparring partner, went the distance - a full eight-round match - against the boxing great. After the fight, Mayweather announced there was announced another exhibition was on the way with the opponent already decided.

"I would like to thank everybody in the UAE, the media, and everybody who covered this fight. This is one of the best countries in the world," Mayweather said after the fight. "Don Moore is still undefeated, we are both still undefeated. I will bring another fight back to the UAE this year. It's a secret. I don't want to let the cat out the bag right now. But we have an opponent, and I choose the UAE."

After facing Moore, Mayweather had two more fights in 2022. He faced off against Mikuru Asakura on June 13 and he defeated the Japanese mixed martial artist via a TKO in the second round in Japan.

Then on Nov. 13 of that year, Mayweather faced off against Deji Olatunji, the younger brother of internet sensation Olajide Olayinka Olatunji, better known by his online persona "KSI." The boxing legend defeated Deji in the sixth round via TKO.

Then in 2023, Mayweather faced off against Aaron Chalmers on Feb. 25 in England. There was no winner, however, despite the fight going a full eight rounds.

Mayweather's next fight was against John Gotti III, a mixed martial artist and boxer on June 11. Though the fight got into the sixth round, it was stopped by referee Kenny Bayless, which caused members of both teams to angrily enter the ring.

Because of the way the fight ended, Mayweather announced on Instagram on Nov. 17 that his next fight will be against Gotti again, this time in Las Vegas during Super Bowl weekend. "Kicking off Super Bowl Weekend - Unfinished business. See you in Las Vegas. More details Soon!!" Mayweather's post read.

Despite the resurfaced video being a year old, it's clear Mayweather still has something left in the tank, after ending his career 50-0. Although the bouts he partakes in are just for exhibitions, it's clear he still takes them seriously, especially with so much money on the line.

Considering how explosive the first matchup between Gotti and Mayweather was, fans can expect an even more explosive fight, come Super Bowl weekend.
