Fair Play will be making its way to Netflix soon, and a newly released trailer has teased what’s to come.
The dramatic movie delves into the lives of an engaged couple whose lives are made complicated when one of them gets a desirable promotion they were both after.
When is the release date for Fair Play?
There is still a little while to wait as Fair Play won’t be released on Friday, October 13, despite the trailer recently coming out.
The film has an overall running time of just under two hours, so a great one to watch on a Saturday night.
Who is in the cast of Fair Play?
Fair Play’s cast is led by couple Luke and Emily, portrayed by stars Alden Ehrenreich and Phoebe Dynevor, respectively.
Actor Ehrenreich first started his career in the drama Supernatural but has since been in Cocaine Bear, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Beautiful Creatures and, most recently, Oppenheimer.
He is joined by Dynevor who shot to fame as Daphne Bridgerton in the romantic period drama Bridgerton on Netflix.
Following the hit series, Dynevor went on to star in the movie Bank of Dave with Rory Kinnear and Hugh Bonneville.

Speaking to Queue about their first impressions of the script, Dynevor explained: "I think my initial reaction, honestly, was just silence. It spoke to me in a way that no script really ever has."
Ehrenreich then added: "When I first read the script, I was really struck by how personal it felt.
“You can kind of feel when a writer is writing something that is born out of their actual experience."
What is Fair Play about?
The official synopsis for Fair Play reads: "When a coveted promotion at a cutthroat financial firm arises, once supportive exchanges between lovers Emily and Luke begin to sour into something more sinister.
"As the power dynamics irrevocably shift in their relationship, the couple must face the true price of success and the unnerving limits of ambition.
"In her feature debut, writer-director Chloe Domont weaves a taut relationship thriller, staring down the destructive gender dynamics that pit partners against each other in a world that is transforming faster than the rules can keep up.”
Fair Play premieres on Friday, October 13, on Netflix.
