Euphoria's devastated Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney post tear-jerking tributes to Angus Cloud

Euphoria's Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney have posted tear-jerking tributes to their co-star Angus Cloud, who died on July 31.

It's been a sad couple of days for the cast of Euphoria.

and Sydney Sweeney have since broken their silence on the death of their co-star Angus Cloud, who died on July 31 at the age of 25. 

Both actresses have posted tear-jerking tributes to Cloud.

Zendaya, who plays Rue Bennett, became friends with Angus, who played Fezco O'Neill, amid their characters' on-screen irksome relationship.

On her Instagram, the actress shared a sweet message about Cloud, saying that "words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor)."

Zendaya posted a black and white image of Cloud and added: "I’m so grateful I got the chance to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm kind eyes and bright smile, or hear his infectious cackle of a laugh (I’m smiling now just thinking of it)/

"I know people use this expression often when talking about folks they love…'they could light up any room they entered' but boy let me tell you, he was the best at it."

She continued: "I’d like to remember him that way. For all of the boundless light, love and joy he always managed to give us. I’ll cherish every moment."

Zendaya then concluded her emotional post with a message for Angus' family and finished with: "My heart is with his mother and family at this time and please be kind and patient as grief looks different for everyone."

Sweeney has also posted a heartfelt tribute to Cloud on her Instagram.

She wrote: "Angus you were an open soul, with the kindest heart, and you filled every room with laughter. This is the hardest thing ive ever had to post, and im struggling to find all the words.

"You will be missed more than you know, but I'm so blessed to have known you in this lifetime, and I'm sure everyone who has ever met you feels the same. This heartache is real and I wish we could've had one more hug and 711 run. All my love is with you."

Zendaya commented on the post with three black hearts.

HBO has also released a statement: “We are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of Angus Cloud. He was immensely talented and a beloved part of the HBO and Euphoria family. We extend our deepest condolences to his friends and family during this difficult time.”

Cloud died at his family home on Monday.

Oakland PD and Fire Dept. responded to a 911 call from Cloud's mom Lisa about a "possible overdose," claiming her son didn't have a pulse.

An official cause of death has not been confirmed, but a police investigation is ongoing.
