It's rare that after ordering in a pizza pie that you don’t have a few slices left over.

While it makes for the perfect food for a few more meals, it can be difficult to bring the frozen pizza back to life and make it taste as good as when you first ordered it. However, this super easy hack that my mom was taught by her Italian mother is the perfect in-between when trading off for better-tasting pizza that takes longer in the oven or disgustingly soggy with plastic-like cheese reheated pizza quickly from the microwave.

All you need is a few pinches of water and your best skillet with a lid - and your pizza will come back to life with a crispy crust and oozy melted cheese in just minutes. Make sure you're slicing your pizza right, too, once it's ready.

To get the perfectly reheated pizza, let your plan slowly warm up over low heat.

Then place your slices of pizza onto the skillet, and add a few drops of water onto the skillet’s surface - you’ll know you’re doing it right if the water sizzles - and then put on the lid, so that it creates a steaming effect. This will help to remelt the cheese.

In just a few minutes, it should be all set and ready to go. We recommend keeping your eye on it to determine for yourself when it looks ready to go, which should be within five to seven minutes.
