DWTS finalist Ariana Madix's dreams of starring on Broadway are about to come true after a hectic year.

has had a busy year, but one of her dreams is about to come true.

The reality TV star has not only broken up with fellow star , but also became a contestant on , making it all the way to the finale and third place.

Now, Ariana is slated to play Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago on in next year.

Famous stars such as and Ashlee Simpson have played the part on Broadway while Renee Zellweger took on the part in the 2002 winning movie.

Madix's Broadway debut is set to happen on January 29, 2024 and she will play an eight-week run through March 24 at the Ambassador Theater.

"It's just the biggest dream come true," Ariana gushed about the opportunity on Wednesday morning while appearing on Live With Kelly And Mark.

"I cannot believe this is real life. I'm going to cry," the 38-year-old added.

The role is a longtime dream of the reality star, who attended Flagler College in Florida where she majored in musical theater.

After college she moved to New York City to try and launch a career on Broadway and eventually fell into doing sketch comedy for a number of outlets including College Humor, and ESPN.

She later moved to Los Angeles where she started bartending at one of 's restaurants SUR and Villa Blanca, which led to her casting on Vanderpump Rules.

On Wednesday night, Madix and her DWTS pro partner Pasha Pashkov came in third on Season 32 of the long running dance competition.

Actress , 17, and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy won the competition.

Singer Jason Mraz, 46 and his partner Daniella Karagach took second place.

Ariana's boss Lisa Vanderpump, 63, watched her performance on Tuesday and praised for her for her efforts.

"I never knew she was capable of anything so magnificent," Vanderpump told the show's host Alfonso Ribeiro after watching.

Vanderpump added, "I've watched every week and it's brought tears to my eyes."

Ariana and Pasha earned 29 points for their redemption dance to the Spice Girls song Spice Up Your Life.

In a recent Instagram Story Q&A, a fan asked the star: "Are you sad that the season is almost coming to an end?"

Ariana posted her emotional reponse: "very it's also really hard to believe it's so close to being over. the last few months have been transformative and the most amazing time of my life."

She added: "i met and got to work with the most incredible people and be a part of the most positive show. from the security guards that make sure we get into the studio safely, to the costumers who make everything to perfection, not to mention the amazing pro dancers, ballroom production team... the list goes on.

"i'm beyond grateful to have made it this far and to have been asked to be a part of this in the first place. there's no better place in television + idk what the heck i m going to do with myself after this!"

After proving she can dance, Ariana will have to pull out all the stops on Broadway.

Having experience in that world already, she'll undoubtedly kill it.
