DWTS's Ariana Madix dedicates heartbreaking routine to late father ahead of performance

Ariana Madix paid a special tribute to her father ahead of her week three performance on Dancing With The Stars.

Ariana Madix has revealed tonight's performance on Dancing With The Stars was dedicated to her late father, James Madix. 

The Vanderpump Rules star whose dad died in 2015, shared a tribute to her 2.1 million followers on Instagram ahead of week three's Motown live show. 

Taking to her story, she wrote: “Tonight's dance is dedicated to my dad. 

“It's times like these I really wish he could be here, but tonight I'm dancing for him. wherever you are.”

Alongside the message, the 38-year-old also shared a throwback family photo of her father who appears to holding her as a baby.

In July, Ariana was confirmed as one of the 14 celebrities competing for the coveted Glitterball trophy. 

She is paired with professional Pasha Pashkov and as week three is Motown Night, the duo will perform the Quickstep to You Can’t Hurry Love by The Supremes.

After taking to the stage with the Samba last week, Ariana beamed as she explained how proud she was of herself for landing 20 points out of 30. 

On the show, she said: “Last week's dance was like closing the book on the drama in my life., to get sevens is incredible and I really want that feeling again.”

The reality star stunned in a two-piece green sequined outfit, as she danced with Pasha to Bad Bunny and Chencho Corleone’s Me Porto Bonito.

The judges also sang her praises as Derek Hough stated: “Out of the gate, very impressed with that samba roll. 

“You are a natural performer, you really know how to work that camera,” while Bruno Tonioli added: “It was so sexy, you worked it from every angle.”
