Joe Biden is outclassed by Xi and Putin - the world was safer under Donald Trump

A fragile peace existed in Afghanistan until Joe Biden unnecessarily forced a chaotic and catastrophic withdrawal, causing soldiers to be killed and Americans and Afghan allies to be abandoned there (not to mention billions of dollars of military equipment.)

Ukrainians were living in relative peace with their neighbor, Russia, until Joe Biden signaled that a minor incursion into their sovereign space would be tolerated. Putin saw the opening and took it. And took it far beyond a “minor incursion”.

The United States’ weakened relationship with Israel since Joe Biden took office provided a window of opportunity for Hamas to attack America’s closest ally in the Middle East. They did so savagely without restraint or apology. And Hezbollah is being emboldened to follow suit.

While Joe Biden’s America is focused on inclusivity and feelings, America’s enemies are focused on intelligence, might, and winning.

Joe Biden is creating, or allowing through weakness, global unrest. He starts or accelerates a problem, waves his hands at it with feigned horror, then asks Congress for money – lots of money - to solve the problem he caused. Then the cycle repeats.

Yet while active fires are raging worldwide, the greatest threat to the West – China - is smoldering in the background, continuing to gain in heat and intensity. With focus elsewhere, China continues its rise. Continues to implement its plans. Continues not only undeterred but freer than ever to advance while the eyes of the world are distracted.

China recently sent six naval vessels to the Middle East, a show of strength few nations on earth could manage. Although not specifically deployed in response to the recent conflict between Israel and Hamas, these ships are part of China’s ongoing expansion of its capacity to engage with both allies and adversaries further from its own shores than ever before. Their naval build-up over the past decade has been substantial and swift. It should be watched closely.

And in fact, China wants the world to watch what they are doing. They have told the world their plan for global domination – called Unrestricted Warfare. We just need to read it – and believe it. China is methodical, strategic, and patient. They are continually expanding their influence and reach, primarily using political, not military tactics.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher said Ronald Reagan “Won the Cold War without firing a single shot.” Perhaps China is trying to take a page from that playbook.

Why should they engage actively in confronting the United States when they can facilitate our own erosion from within? Rather than going toe to toe in a kinetic engagement, what if they could infiltrate the US by causing us to focus on things that do not matter? Or things that distract us from our essential priorities?

What if China could get us to accelerate our own weakness? Sow division, distrust, or even hatred amongst fellow citizens?

What if they could release a virus with the potential of making sick or killing hundreds of millions of people worldwide and not be held accountable for it?

What if China could amplify the hysteria of the climate change narrative, while simultaneously building coal-fired and nuclear power plants at an increasing speed?

What if the push for renewable energy could be politicized – and become a profit-making endeavor for China which manufactures most of the world’s solar panels and wind turbines?

US-CHINA-DIPLOMACY

These hypotheticals are not too far-fetched, and, in fact, it is hard to come up with any other explanation for some of these occurrences.

The West though, through our focus on things that are not essential, fueled by China’s online misinformation machine and social media, combined with a willing public who takes the bait, are accelerating Western decline.

China is leading a new world order and America and its allies are watching it happen without seemingly any worry or attempt to slow or stop it.

The antidotes to this seismic shift are simple, but not easy. We need to return our focus to things that matter. Bolster America by strengthening our skills and our resolve, which will realign the Western world and not give China the opportunity to win without firing a shot.
