Donald Trump vows retribution and warns 'Joe Biden's indictments opened Pandora's box'
Donald Trump warned Joe Biden to "be very careful what you wish for" over the string of legal cases he faces while at a glitzy GOP event in New York.
Former President Donald Trump warned Joe Biden that he has “opened up a Pandora’s box” branding the charges he faces “Biden indictments” at a glitzy Republican event.
Trump addressed an adoring crowd at Cipriani’s flagship location on New York’s Wall Street Saturday evening, during a keynote speech to the New York Young Republican Club at their 111th Annual Gala.
In a fiery speech, the Republican frontrunner warned the current President that indicting a former commander-in-chief would be a two-way street if he wins in 2024.
“He’s opened up a Pandora’s box that will never let our country be the same,” he said to the 1,000 or so guests.
Trump continued: “I can only say to Joe: Be very careful what you wish for, but you have done is a terrible thing.”

Trump claimed: “I am being indicted for you. These are not indictments in the traditional sense. These are Biden indictments against their political opponent.”
Trump, 77, who faces 91 felony counts from four separate state and federal investigations, bragged about his high poll numbers despite his legal woes.
“I am the first guy who ever got indicted whose poll number went up,” he joked while comparing himself to notorious Chicago gangster Al Capone, The New York Post reported. Trump has denied any wrongdoing and branded the trials as political shams.
Trump vowed to see off his rivals in the GOP primary and win the 2024 presidential election. He even claimed he would win in his hometown - the Democratic stronghold New York City.
“We’re going to take New York,” Trump said. “I believe we have a great chance…With hundreds of thousands of people living on the sidewalks and streets and illegal aliens invading our city and state like nobody thought possible.”
Trump also threw barbs at his GOP challengers, repeating his “DeSanctimonious,” jibe for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, while calling his former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley a “birdbrain.”
Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) and Representative Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.), were among the other speakers at the event.
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani sat at a table with his former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik.
Conservative heavyweight and former White House advisor Steve Bannon bought an entire table for the event - individual tickets are said to have cost about $700.
