Dolly Parton makes huge Miley Cyrus announcement but fans complain over strange detail
Dolly Parton has announced she is working with Miley Cyrus, but fans can't help but claim the country singer has done her goddaughter "dirty".
Dolly Parton is releasing her first rock album next month titled Rockstar, and has been doing promotional pushes throughout the year.
The Queen of Country did continue with her promotional push as she announced the release of her cover version of Wrecking Ball, first recorded by her goddaughter Miley Cyrus.
She took to Instagram to make the announcement, sharing a black-and-white photo of her all dressed up next to Miley.
However, fans claimed the singer did Miley "dirty" due to her choice of picture for the Flowers hitmaker.

However, despite this, comments were overloaded with happy fans over the collaboration, praising the pair's vocals.

Wrecking Ball was originally featured on Miley's fourth studio album Bangerz and was a big summer hit in 2013.
Used as the second single to the album, it then went on to debut at number 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 but subsequently became Miley's first number-one song on the chart.
When Dolly got the idea to toughen up her sound, she decided to pick a number of rock songs for an array of different artists, including her goddaughter.
