There is nothing better than something chocolatey and rich on a cold frosty evening, and one cook has developed a no-fuss recipe anyone can make.

April is a mother of four who loves cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. She has been featured on the Food Network due to her recipe website Chaos and Wine, and created a sweet chocolate and peanut butter cookie that requires no baking.

In a blog post, April said: “Chocolate and peanut butter is one of the best flavor combinations not to mention a classic!

Instructions

To begin, line a baking tray with baking parchment and then set it aside.

Mix one tablespoon of peanut butter, one tablespoon of canola oil, and the chocolate chips in a small bowl.

Melt in the microwave for 20 seconds, give it a good stir, and then place in the microwave for another 20 seconds. Repeat this process until the chocolate chips are fully melted and have a smooth consistency. If the mixture is too thick add a little more canola oil and stir it in.

If you do not own a microwave, you can melt the chocolate chips on the stove using a pot of boiling water and a heatproof bowl. Simply fill a pot halfway with water and place it on the stove, then add the ingredients to the heatproof bowl, place above the pot, and place on low heat. Stir until the chocolate chips have fully melted.

Once you have a melted chocolate-peanut mixture, use a fork to dip the thin portions into the melted chocolate until the cookie is fully coated, and then transfer to the baking tray.

Repeat this process for each cookie and then place the baking in the fridge to allow the chocolate to set.

Once the chocolate has hardened, make a drizzle. Simply melt the remaining peanut butter and drizzle it over the cookies.

Return the cookies to the fridge to allow the drizzle to set, and once solid your delicious yet simple cookies are ready to serve.
