The mom of 3 has shared a turkey hack she can’t live without, and once you’ve followed her instructions you can expect your turkey to be “moist, brown, and perfect”. The best part is that there’s no basting necessary.

Start by grabbing your turkey and set it on a rack or pan of your choice. Massage your turkey with butter, followed by seasoning it with salt and pepper and placing some citrus and herbs in the turkey’s cavity.

Lora said that the next step is “a little strange” but “really works”. Slice an apple in half and place it in the turkey’s cavity to help prop the area open.

She explained: “This will help keep your breast open and moist.”

Grab your cheesecloth, and now it’s “time for the magic”. Soak the entire cheesecloth in butter and drape it across the bird. Now put your turkey in the oven and don’t check it until it’s done.

Lora said of the process: “No basting, no nothing. So easy.”

After letting the turkey do its thing in the oven, Lora revealed a golden Turkey that looked incredibly appetizing.
