While prices are steadily skyrocketing, folks are shocked after finding out how cheap Chipotle used to be.

But now, people are even more surprised after learning how much prices have risen at one of their favorite eateries.

A TikTok video revealed the prices at Chipotle back in 2009, with most combo meals costing less than $7. This revelation left some folks stunned.

One person reminisced in the comments: "The Halloween 'special discount was for $6'." Another added: "When I worked there in 09 we did $3 burritos."

A third viewer shared: "My bowl used to cost $11! The exact same bowl now costs $26!"

Another person agreed, saying: "No, I went to Chipotle today and my bowl and chips was $15 I said huh?" And another user wrote: "In my mind, it's still like this and I'm confused why I have no money."

Many people discussed how cheap other fast food chains were, with one viewer commenting: "I remember you could get a dollar double with cheese at Burger King just 10 years ago."
