China's threat is hiding in plain sight - only Biden can't see it, says PEGGY GRANDE

President Biden is not focused on a secure border, on formulating a robust American energy plan, or on bringing down gasoline and energy prices.

He seems uninterested in curbing inflation, enhancing safety in the nation’s biggest cities, or ensuring American students are properly educated to compete in a global economy.

Biden is stripping rights from parents, saying children belong to the schools, and giving preference to illegal immigrants over U.S. citizens.

He is not focused on making life better, safer, more prosperous, less expensive, or less oppressive for Americans. And perhaps, most dangerous of all, he is not focused on the greatest adversary of our time – China.

So as Biden continually talks about climate change as the existential threat of our time, he ignores the true threat of our time – China.

And as he continues to underestimate the danger the Chinese Communist Party is to the world’s sovereignty and way of life, the greater threat they are.

We already know the Chinese have managed to be intimately connected with Members of Congress, like Democrat Representative Eric Swalwell who was closely associated with a Chinese spy, Fang Fang, and Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein, who had a driver for over 20 years who was a CCP spy.

And this week we discovered that Democrat Representative Elissa Slotkin participated in closed-door meetings with Gotion High-Tech EV battery plant executives who are linked to the CCP.

Yet Joe Biden and the Democrats are not alone in this failure – our ally, the United Kingdom, has recently discovered two Chinese spies working within Parliament.

Despite that, Business Secretary, Kemi Badenoch, said “we wouldn’t be able to get to where we want to on net zero by stopping or banning Chinese products.”

She believes Britain “cannot afford to cut ties with China,” regardless of the current concerns over spying. Really? Sacrificing national security in the name of climate change?

I am sure the Chinese would happily “sell her a bridge” along with those inefficient solar panels and wind turbines. President Biden continues to tout “Bidenomics” saying it’s working – while Americans are overwhelmingly unconvinced.

As President Biden focuses on climate change, he is capitulating to China, seemingly unconcerned with their growing power and influence on the world stage.

He should be able to focus on multiple challenges at once, but he doesn’t have the energy or mental capacity to do so. And China knows it.

Biden says he seeks healthy competition, not confrontation with China, but China doesn’t mind confrontation and doesn’t want competition – they want domination.

President Biden continues to devote significant attention to the war in Ukraine and its leading villain, Vladimir Putin. And while this is important – the bigger threat is still China.

In fact, Joe Biden allowed the war in Ukraine to happen through his signal to Putin that a minor incursion would be permissible. As such, China may believe that an invasion of Taiwan under Joe Biden’s watch is similarly achievable.

President Biden stated this week he doesn’t think Taiwan will be invaded because Xi is facing economic challenges domestically in China.

Has Biden considered that because of the economic challenges he himself has caused in America that it may be the perfect opportunity for Xi to take advantage of America’s current weakness and invade Taiwan?

The House Oversight Committee has indicated that President Biden is compromised when it comes to China because payments from the CCP have gone to Hunter Biden and several members of the Biden family.

While President Biden continues to deny it, the evidence continues to mount. This, in part, is why House Speaker Kevin McCarthy authorized an impeachment inquiry which could verify whether Joe Biden benefitted personally from his relationship with China, and perhaps even changed U.S. policy because of it. McCarthy wants to safeguard America’s national security - this is the next step.

The American people demand transparency and vigilance regarding China’s activities on U.S. soil. They are deeply concerned about the CCP buying up farmland near sensitive military installations, setting up secret police sites with intelligence officers across the nation, and running essential companies, like electric battery plants in Michigan and Illinois.

Americans need the President of the United States to navigate multiple challenges simultaneously, prioritizing those which present the gravest danger.

Unfortunately, President Biden seems hopelessly unable to fulfill the basic roles of his office, regularly stumbling verbally and physically as the world takes note.

He spews partisan venom at those who oppose him domestically. Yet when it comes to China, he is non-confrontational.

Joe Biden’s decisions will not only shape his legacy, but the future of American foreign policy and national security too. He spends a lot of time focusing on issues that are not priorities to a majority of the American people, and by default, is not spending a lot of time focusing on protecting America and Americans from the greatest adversary of our time. It is time for him to prioritize his focus – on China.
