You’ve heard of chicken fried steak, but what about deep frying a popular poultry item? Pete is a cook with some interesting creations. In his latest concoction, he shared his recipe for the "best fried eggs ever", with a twist of course.

To recreate his chicken fried egg recipe, start by dropping an egg into a frying pan with heated oil. Let it fry for 20 seconds before lifting the egg out of the oil with a spatula. Drain the grease from the egg and put it in a paper plate with seasoned flour.

Coat the egg all around with the flour. After you’ve got a good layer of flower all over the egg, take your spatula and set it back down in the oil. When the flour has browned, you can take it out.

Set it on a paper towel to collect the grease. For a final touch, put some spicy sauce of your liking on it – the content creator went with the Zippy Zap Premium Pepper Sauce.

The flour on the egg will have a nice crunch when you bite into it. Bon appétit!

Pete’s recipe has drawn some interesting reactions from social media users.

Commenting on his creation, one person wrote: "Who in their right or even left mind would (1) deep fry an egg (2) coat it in flour and then deep fry it again (3) put hot pepper sauce on it???? Why even cook an egg if you can't taste the egg you're cooking????"

Fearing for their health another said: “I wanna try it, but I don’t want my cholesterol to go up. Looks good though.”

“This is beyond wild lmfao,” a third wrote.

Some people were more accustomed to Pete’s food choices though, like one person who wrote: “Man I went through the comments and these folks afraid of their own shadow. We been deep frying everything from Twinkies to mountain oysters down south and this I've got to try.”

And another supportive person said: "Don't listen to the mean comments! I bet this would be a hit on a burger."
