An  fanatic has shared exactly how to save on Thanksgiving Day so you can spend time with loved ones without worrying about funds.

Sarah, whose  account @aldiallthetime is dedicated to Aldi finds, reviews and  says that if you want to have a nice Thanksgiving Day dinner but you’re on a tight budget, there are some affordable things you can get at Aldi. She started with the turkey.

The savvy shopper said: “Unfortunately the cheapest turkey option is this turkey for $1.27 a pound. When I looked through I saw they were about $15 to $30 each, so here’s some other options that are under $20.”

She reported that the cheapest thing she found were turkey legs which come three in a pack for about $3. Aldi also offered bone-in and boneless turkey breasts for about $15, and a ton of different ham options that are all under $20.

Sarah moved on to the stuffing options. There was Brioche Stuffing Mix for $1.79, Hawaiian Stuffing Mix for $1.39, with the most affordable stuffing being Stuffing Mix for 75 cents.

The content creator also mentioned a name-brand stuffing, Pepperidge Farm Herb Seasoned Classic Stuffing, which she heard is very good.

Next on the list of foods were mashed potatoes. The content creator said: “Now on to mashed potatoes. You can obviously make homemade potatoes, but that requires more ingredients, so here are some quick and easy options.”

The Aldi brand of mashed potatoes is 95 cents, while the Idahoan Mashed Potatoes, which has a ton of different flavors, is $1.44.

She also listed affordable gravy, sweet potato casserole and mac and cheese options.

The canned vegetables including corn, green beans, peas and carrots were super on budget and all under 50 cents.

Sarah said: “There are also multiple frozen options that I think all taste great. And they’re great quality veggies.

“But if you have a little extra money for fresh vegetables, I love the brussel sprouts, I buy them all the time.

“You can get a huge pack of broccoli for about $2, and this pound of green beans is $2.69.”

If you’re craving something a little different, a salad kit, which includes everything, costs $2.79.

Moving on to dessert, there are cheap options for cookies and cheesecake, pumpkin, dutch apple, and pecan pies, and more.
