Answers in a new Reddit forum have revealed several price-friendly Christmas gift suggestions for that special auto enthusiast in your life if you don’t know where to start.

Among all of the responses, one recommendation cropped up more than once.

This suggestion was to purchase your favorite gearhead a miniature toy version of a car that’s special to the recipient.

One Redditor within this forum featuring a woman requesting auto-themed gift ideas for guys wrote: “If by chance he’s into Lego, buy him a Lego Technic car (lots of price ranges).”

Another Reddit user responded to the Lego suggestion: “Or a die-cast model of their car, or a car they used to own.”

A third Reddit account echoed: “[A] custom die-cast of his car or some other art form of it.”

Some of the Christmas suggestions were based on practicality, with one response recommending a decent jump box.

Jump boxes offer several advantages over traditional jumper cables, including but not limited to portability, independence of a second vehicle, increased safety, and a built-in battery.

One Redditor chimed in with a gift certificate suggestion: “Get a gift card to an auto parts store.

“They can buy detailing supplies, an oil change, tools, parts. Anything for their car, almost.”

However, another Reddit user suggested: “Skip the surprise and just ask what is needed. I guarantee better results. I have like four projects, so I could use a lot of things.”

Other brands like Bugatti offer an extensive inventory of auto-themed Christmas gifts ranging from $49 to $450,000 — one of which is a Lego toy car.
