Britney Spears 'cordial' with ex Sam Asghari as divorce settlement is 'imminent'
Following Britney Spears and Sam Asghari's sudden split was announced in August, the couple have kept quiet as they finalized their divorce
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are reportedly ready to settle their divorce with an ‘imminent’ amicable agreement.
The couple split in July this year after a six year romance and just 14 months of marriage, with Asghari filing documents to dissolve their union in August.
According to TMZ, despite initial speculation that Asghari was prepared to fight the ‘iron clad’ pre-nuptial agreement put in place before their wedding, things are about to be signed off.
It’s believed Asghari will receive a low six-figure sum from Britney.
Despite initially cutting off all communication from each other in the wake of the news breaking, it’s believed they are now back on ‘cordial’ terms.

Asghari - who lives in an LA apartment valued at $10,000 a month financed by his soon-to-be ex-wife - has also been vocally supportive of her in the wake of her book release.
In ‘The Woman In Me’, which released in October, mention of Asghari was limited, with reports claiming Britney and the team scrambled to pull out chapters regarding him.
Regardless, she was seen calling him a ‘gift from God’ during that point in her life, something he was clearly flattered by.
When asked about the book, Asghari gave it his seal of approval.

“That made me smile, to be honest,” the actor told TMZ. “I’m freakin’ proud of her, and I hope she takes over the world.”
At the time of the split, Britney confirmed the news in a post on Instagram.
She wrote: “As everyone knows, Hesam and I are no longer together... Six years is a long time to be with someone so, I'm a little shocked but... I'm not here to explain why because it's honestly nobody's business.”
The couple first met on the set of her music video, Slumber Party, with Asghari playing Britney’s love interest.
