Britney Spears wants to 'reconcile' with dad despite saying he 'should be in prison'
As she deals with her split from Sam Asghari, Britney Spears is reportedly considering the unthinkable - reconciling her with estranged father, Jamie Spears.

In a move that no one saw coming, Britney Spears is reportedly considering reconciling with her father, Jamie Spears.
The Toxic singer made shocking allegations against her dad while trying to end her conservatorship, including stating she was "shocked" he wasn't in prison.
"What dad did to me, they don’t even do that to criminals…so for you to sit back and act completely aloof to what has happened to me is honestly insane to me," she said in a message to sister Jamie Lynn in January last year.
She added: "You guys treated me like nothing and that’s not even the half of it. I’m shocked dad isn’t in jail."
However, it's been reported that Britney is thinking of getting back in touch with her father amid his major health woes and her nasty split from Sam Asghari.
It was widely reported that when Jamie was in the hospital a few months ago, it was due to complications with his kidneys.
The problem was not with his kidneys at all, but instead was due to issues with a knee replacement that he had 16 years ago.
A source close to the Spears family spoke to TMZ and revealed that due to her split from Sam and her father’s health woes, Britney is considering repairing her relationship with Jamie.
The same man the pop star reportedly wanted to put in “jail” because of his treatment of her during her conservatorship.
But the thought of regret apparently outweighs any past feelings she may have towards her father.

Jamie has reportedly gotten some sort of infection in his knees leaving him in and out of the hospital and losing weight at a rapid pace.
He is scheduled for surgery on Friday to try and clear out the infection.
Jamie was reportedly “elated” when he was told that Britney was considering a reconciliation.
Britney’s relationships – or lack there of – with her family has been the source of much debate since she split with Sam a few weeks ago.
But, the source confirmed to TMZ that the Baby One More Time singer was in touch with her brother Bryan, who was the one informing her about what was going on with her dad.
For his part, Jamie has never held any “ill will” about anything Britney has said about him and would “love” a reconciliation.
