Britney Spears insists she 'never buys diamond or glitzy things' in sexy new selfies

Britney Spears has once again shown off another new outfit for all of her 42 million followers on Instagram to see.

While her father, Jamie, is facing a health crisis, Britney appears to have reconciled with her mother, Lynne Spears, as several pictures from her 42nd birthday surfaced.

On Saturday, the pop star posted yet another sexy mirror video of herself wearing a short long-sleeved light pink bedazzled dress.

The outfit had a mesh cut out to make it look as if it had a plunging neckline.

However, according to the Toxic singer, she doesn't usually buy "glitzy" dresses.

Britney's video montage featured her posing and smiling into the mirror holding her phone.

She wore her usual dark makeup and styled her hair straight.

However, her caption was puzzling as she confessed she doesn't buy diamond dresses.

She wrote: "Messing around in my new pink dress … I like that it made my legs look pretty but it’s weird I never buy diamond dresses or anything glitzy really."

The pop star has worn similar looks on stage during various performances and on tour throughout her career.

Still, it's clear that Britney loves her new dress.

She added that she wore it last night before going out with a couple of friends.

Before she left, though, she shot her newest video.

However, Britney continued to write that she wasn't happy with the quality of it and hoped to shoot another video that allowed the sequins to pop. more.

She said: "I don’t think I’m done with this one though !!!!! I think if I had better light the diamonds would pop way better !!!"

The singer's latest video comes a day after sources claimed that she has no desire to reconcil with her father, despite his turn in health.

According to insiders, the Overprotected singe will “never forgive him for the abuses and trauma he caused.”

“The book and her posts about detesting her father speak for themselves,” an insider tells Page Six.

Britney’s recent birthday celebration with her mother is not any indication of what the future holds with her father.

A full reconciliation with Lynne, 68, is “an active work in progress."

Meanwhile, Britney has been concerning fans by posting several videos of herself dancing with pal and manager, Cade Hudson.

They don't think he's giving Britney the support she needs amid all her family drama.
