Britney Spears' mother Lynne 'making effort' to repair their bond after conservatorship
Britney Spears regained full control of her $60m estate after a 13-year-long conservatorship was terminated two years ago.

Britney Spears’ mother Lynne is said to be doing all she can to repair her relationship with the singer after their post-conservatorship rift.
In 2008, the Gimme More star was court-appointed a conservator which is intended for people who cannot take care of themselves.
As a result, her father Jamie, and a team of lawyers seized control of her personal, economic, and legal decision-making power.
They also controlled her spending, communications, and personal decisions, but after a highly publicized legal battle, Britney was finally freed at 39 years old.
What followed was a public family feud with a social media spat with her “unsupportive” younger sister Jamie-Lynn Spears, which was explored in her bombshell memoir, Woman in Me.

While Lynne also took to social media to dispute allegations from the book, a source claimed the mother and daughter duo recently reunited for Britney’s 42nd birthday.
According to PEOPLE, an insider revealed she is “really making an effort to be in Britney’s life.”
Despite this, the star is reportedly “still hurt, because she feels her mom could have done more to help her but she has very few friends and really needs to just be with family.”
The source added: “Her mom does love her. There is no doubt about that,” as they noted that “Britney can be very stubborn.”

It was also alleged that Lynne is “very apologetic to Britney” and “takes full blame.”
“Lynne is really making an effort to be in Britney’s life. Britney likes spending time with her.
“They have a complicated relationship, but it seems they both need each other,” the insider concluded.
Their improving relationship was posted on Instagram as Britney’s hair colorist Baihly B's shared photos of the two snuggling on the sofa as well as an image of the performer holding her mom in the air.
As Britney’s brother Bryan was also in attendance at her party, her relationship with Jamie Lynn seemingly remains fractured although the Zoey 101 star opened up about their close upbringing during her recent stint on the British reality series, I’m A Celeb.
