The images captured the duo bidding farewell to each other on seemingly good terms after years of estrangement following Britney's fallout with the family over her 13-year conservatorship.

The reunion was described as a "really nice moment" for the Spears family, according to insider sources.

The reconciliation contrasts with Britney's earlier claims that Lynne did not assist in freeing her from the conservatorship controlled by her father, Jamie Spears.

The feud escalated when Britney accused her mother of discarding her childhood dolls and journals.

Allegedly, Lynne sold these possessions online and at a local consignment shop, earning “thousands of dollars” according to sources.

Among the items reportedly sold were pieces of Britney's iconic wardrobe, such as a hat worn at the Billboard Music Awards in 2000 and Butterfly boots from the 2003 Kids' Choice Awards.

Britney's memoir, The Woman In Me, also detailed the removal of childhood items, a claim Lynne denied, asserting she wouldn't be so”cruel” to her daughter.

In response to Lynne's refutal, Britney claimed on Instagram that during a recent visit home, she found several dolls that had previously been missing.
