Brittany Mahomes act of kindness to Taylor Swift repays pop star's sweet offer

Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes braved the chilly conditions in Green Bay, even if the pop songstress had to call in a favor from her new best friend. The world-famous singer appeared to borrow a coat from the wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback as she watched Travis Kelce in action.

It was a night to forget for the Chiefs at Lambeau Field as they fell to a 27-19 loss but that did not stop Swift and Mahomes making the best of things in the stadium's VIP lounge. After boarding a plane to Wisconsin together, they were spotted enjoying each other's company as their respective loves slumped to defeat.

After landing ahead of the game, the pair were spotted walking inside the stadium, as they got to know their surroundings prior to kick off. Showing their closeness, they even shared a brief cuddle, with Swift telling her friend: "Okay, cool, I'll see you guys in a minute," as they parted for a brief moment.

Showing just how close they have become since the 'Anti Hero' hitmaker starting dating her tight end boyfriend in September, Swift even seemed to make use of her new pal's wardrobe to add some extra layers to help stave off the cold having jetted in from Europe. Going for some slightly different attire to what her army of fans are used to seeing her wear, she donned a red coat to complete her look.

The coat in question is thought to be the property of Brittany, who ensured her friend was suited and booted for the freezing temperatures on a brisk night in Green Bay. The red colors also meant she was able to show some subtle support for her new beau Kelce's team.

From there, they eventually reconvened as they enjoyed the action on the field, while cheering on the men in their life as they have done in previous weeks and months. Clearly at ease in one another's company, they hugged during positive moments on an otherwise difficult night for the Chiefs.

Clearly, the pair still enjoyed themselves as they watched a game in person together for a first time since Swift's 'Eras Tour' resumed in South America last month. The chart-topper had last attended a Chiefs clash in October, when her blossoming friendship with Brittany first became public knowledge.

Following that against the Chargers, they have socialized together - including evenings at Swift's Manhattan apartment. In one instance, they got together to watch the Chiefs against the Miami Dolphins in New York as the two teams faced off in Germany.

According to a People insider, they dined in a private room, alongside other Chiefs wives and girlfriends including Lyndsay Bell and Paige Buechele. The source claimed: "Everyone had a blast. "They all got along and were just laughing all night over drinks and delicious food."

Their friendship appears to be going from strength to strength, with a source also telling US Weekly: "Brittany is thrilled to be building a genuine friendship with Taylor. They've hung out a couple of times and have grown fairly close in a short period of time. Brittany thinks Taylor is so sweet, and down to earth, and they get along really great."
