Billie Eilish shares she's attracted to women but sometimes ‘feels intimidated’ by them

Billie Eilish has opened up about her sexuality and said she has "never felt like a girl" after previously claiming it was "nobody's business".

Billie Eilish, the Grammy award-winning singer, has openly admitted her “physical attraction” to women in a recent chat with Variety.

However, she also confessed that she finds them “intimidating” in one of her most candid talks yet.

She told the outlet: "I've never really felt like I could relate to girls very well.

“I love them so much. I love them as people. I'm attracted to them as people. I'm attracted to them for real.”

The star further explained that she hasn't always been a ‘girl's girl’ and often felt animosity from other women.

She added: “I have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life. I'm physically attracted to them, but I'm also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.”

In the past, Billie has avoided questions about her sexuality, stating it was "nobody's business". She also criticized the media for not having the "same energy" when questioning men's sexuality.

The Bad Guy singer has also faced accusations of queerbaiting from her fans.

While promoting her song Lost Cause, she shared a series of photos with a group of women, captioned "I love girls", which received some critical comments from her followers.

The 21-year-old pop sensation also opened up about her gender identity and the sexualization she's faced since her career took off in 2017.

Known for her signature baggy outfits, Billie admitted: "Maybe my not really caring about being sexualized is because I've never felt desired or desirable.

“I've never felt like a woman, to be honest with you [...] I've never felt feminine. I have to convince myself that I'm, like, a pretty girl.”

She also confirmed that she “identifies as she/her” but has “never really felt like a girl.”
