Lynn is a retirement mentor whose TikTok account is devoted to helping women retire “sooner, better, richer, and on [their] terms”. She shared her opinion on the five best cities to retire in the United States when you factor in money, health, and relationships, according to an article she came across online.

The first place Lynn gave the dish on was Wilmington, North Carolina. The older woman said she loved North Carolina and spent a few years of her life there.

As for Rehoboth Beach, Delaware she said: “Never been there, don’t have an opinion, but if it’s on the list, there must be a reason.”

Next on the roster was Fredricksburg, Texas. Of the potential retirement location she said: “Again, haven’t been there, but sounds like it’s a nice place to check out.”

For the next place on the list, Ogden, Utah, she noted that Utah is the “fourth happiest state to live in in the United States.” She added: “Plus I love to ski, so I’m down.”

The fifth and final place was Charlottesville, Virginia. She said: “Based on the pictures that I’m seeing online, I am putting this on my list to go check out. You never know, I could be heading south,” she finished off.

Despite Lynn’s positive sentiments about the listed retirement options, some people played devil’s advocate in the comments section of her clip to help future retirees have both the pros and cons of living in the areas mentioned in the video.

One person from Delaware said: “Delawarean here. Rehoboth is very small, very crowded, very expensive, very blue, lots of flooding.”

Another added: “Wouldn’t live in any of those places!!!!!! NOPE!!!!!”

Comparing two states a third said: Texas is too hot for retirees, North Carolina has an ideal climate.”

“Ogden lmao!! Noooooo way,” said a fourth of the Utah city.

“Lived in Ogden, Utah, not a great place to live,” a final person added.
