Trick-or-treating bear caught gorging on leftover Halloween candy in front yard

An unexpected trick-or-treating black bear has been caught red-pawed gorging on leftover Halloween candy in a front yard before strolling away in a hilarious video.

Pari Limbachia said she was taking her kids trick-or-treating in Lake Mary, Florida on Tuesday evening when they came across the extraordinary scene.

The family caught the incredible moment from a golf cart where they saw the large black bear munching on candy left out on a folding table.

The hungry animal continued to stuff its face as the stunned mother and her kids looked on from a safe distance.

One of the youngsters could be heard asking: "With the wrapper?" when the bear munching the sugary treats.

After getting its feed, the bear strolled away from the table and down the driveway leading from the front yard in Florida.

Bears are driven by their need to eat and have a great sense of smell that can detect odors from more than a mile away, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

The latest extraordinary scene comes after another black bear was caught on camera raiding a Tennessee garden to swipe barbecue food.

The incredible video shows the large animal grabbing 10 hamburgers and a Diet Coke - a treat for the family having a barbecue.

The man filmed as the bear sniffed around the garden before the beast discovered the 10 patties cooking.

The bear then proceeds to bite large chunks out of the patties.

After knocking back a Diet Coke, it then proceeded to drink up the spillage.

The family was not visible in the video as they watched the bear patrol their backyard.

TikTok user melmell7197, whose garden was raided by the bear, shared the footage on the video hosting platform, writing alongside it: "Damn bears ate our dinner tonight."
