House costs $2,600 per month but pictures of inside leave people feeling 'weird'

A house advertised on Facebook Marketplace has left users feeling "weird" after realising an odd feature of the house.

Social media users have been left shocked to come across an apartment that costs $2,600 per month but only has one window.

The flat, in Adelaide, was listed on .

It contains just one small window in just one of the bedrooms out of three.

The post said: "Furnished: TV, beds, couch, study tables, aircon, washing machine, dryer, fridge, microwave.

"House is 100m walk from Woolies, BigW, restaurant, cafes etc. Four minute drive to the city.

"Plenty of off-street parking. Will need four weeks bond and proof of income (sponsorship letter for students)."

The Facebook Marketplace user explained that the rent would cost "$600 per week or $2600/month + utility bills".

One observant Reddit user came across the post and noticed that the three-bedroom flat only contained one window, located in one of the bedrooms.

Sharing a link to the post, the user wrote: "This weird apartment costs $2,600 per month and has one window."

Others were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: "This makes me feel weird."

Another said: "The rent market is crazy. We are in hell."

The average rent in Australia is $600 a week for houses and units, according to money-saving site Mozo.
