Ariana Maddix fights through injury to make it through for a DWTS finals first

Just days before she was set to perform in the semi-finals of Dancing With the Stars, Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix arrived to practice clutching a bottle of painkillers.

Ariana Madix is not going to let a little injury stop her from performing on Dancing With the Stars.

The Vanderpump Rules was spotted heading to rehearsals for the semi-finals of the ABC hit with her boyfriend Daniel Wei, clutching a bottle of Excedrin just days before her next performance.

Ariana carried a small black backpack and a large white tote, fans can only assume that her dance shoes were in one of the bags.

Daniel has been a constant by Ariana’s side since Scandoval hit back in March, when the world learned that Ariana’s longtime boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, was having a months long affair with her friend Raquel Leviss.

Speaking of the affair that broke the Bravo-world, Ariana recently revealed that she had guidelines when it came to mentioning the drama on DWTS.

Taking to her Instastories, Ariana answered fans questions ahead of the semis.

When one fan asked why she didn’t dance to Vigilante S**t on Taylor Swift night, Ariana replied: “Aside from Week 1 and [Most Memorable Year Night] I had a big music rule for myself which was NO songs on that subject matter.”

The subject matter fans can only assume meant anything to do with the affair — or even Tom.

During her first performance of the night with Pasha Pashkov, Carrie Ann Inaba asked why she was holding back in her arm movements, the Vanderpump Rules star said it was because of the injury to her ribs.

Ariana has also suffered an injury to her foot this season, causing her to perform without heels for a couple of weeks.

But that didn’t stop her from killing it and scoring a 28 to her Jive to Runaway Baby by Bruno Mars.

While practicing her second dance of the night, Ariana was very upfront that the arm movements were hurting her already aching back. But, that was not going to get in the way of her making it to the finale.

She scored a perfect 30 for her elegant Foxtrot.

Alyson might have been at the bottom of the leader board at the end of the night, but she was still announced as the first finalist.

It came down to frontrunners Ariana and Xochitl – leaving fans in complete disbelief.

But the show refused to let either of them go and will have five finalists for the first time in 32 seasons!
