Ariana is set to take on the iconic role of Glinda in the upcoming two-segment movie, whereas Ethan is slated to portray the munchkin character Boq.

Ariana Grande reportedly took Dalton Gomez on “several” double dates with Ethan Slater and estranged wife Lilly Jay.
An insider told Us Weekly that Ethan shared the news with his friends and his soon-to-be former spouse, Lilly Jay.
According to the confidant, the couple seems to be in a joyful state and are well-matched for each other.
Adding to this, the source indicated that Ariana's friends have given Ethan their seal of approval.
"Ethan informed his friends and soon-to-be ex-wife [Lilly Jay] that he's living with Ariana full-time in New York," the source dished. "They're really happy and really good for each other. All of her friends love him."

Official court papers indicate that Ariana initiated the divorce proceedings on September 18. She recorded their separation date as having occurred on February 20.
